Terms of service
Effective and last updated September 30, 2026.
These terms apply when you use this website or pay Seashore Transportation, Inc. ("Seashore", "we", "us") online. Section 4 also explains how our calls, emails and text messages work. By using this website you agree to these terms, and when you pay online you accept them at checkout. Transportation itself is provided under a written quote, contract or agreement; if these terms conflict with that document, that document governs.
1. Our services and proposals
We provide student and group transportation. Information on this website is general, not an offer. Proposals and quotes become binding only when confirmed in writing by us. Schedules, routes, stops and staffing are set by the applicable contract and by the school, district or organization we serve.
2. Trips, charters and changes
Trips and charters are confirmed in writing. Changes and cancellations follow the terms in your quote or contract. Please tell us about any changes as early as possible. Cancellation and refund terms are stated on each quote or invoice before you pay.
3. Payments and billing
- Amounts, due dates and payment terms are set by your invoice, quote or contract. Prices and payments are in U.S. dollars.
- Online payments are processed by third-party payment processors, whose terms and privacy policies also apply to the payment. You enter card or bank details directly into the processor's secure payment form. By paying online you authorize the charge for the amount shown, and we or our payment processor will send you a receipt.
- If a fee or surcharge applies to a payment method, we show its amount before you pay. Any credit card surcharge will not be more than our cost to process the payment.
- Refunds and cancellations follow your quote, invoice or contract. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.
- We charge you automatically or on a recurring schedule only if you authorize it separately, and you can cancel that authorization by contacting us before the next charge.
- If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first at (732) 222-6464 or billing@seashoretransit.com so we can resolve it quickly. This does not limit any right you have to dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank. Late payments and collection costs are handled as your contract or invoice provides and the law allows.
4. Calls, text messages and email
If you give us your phone number or email address, we may call or email you about your request, service, contract, invoice or job application. We text you only if you opt in to text messages, as described below. We will not call or text you using automated dialing, a prerecorded voice or an artificial (AI) voice without the consent the law requires. We send marketing messages only where the law allows, never send marketing calls or texts without your prior express written consent, and you can opt out at any time.
Text messages from Seashore Transportation. If you opt in to text messages, you agree to receive recurring messages from Seashore Transportation about the service you use or requested, such as trip details, schedule changes, service updates, billing and payment notices and, if you applied for a job, application updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You can also reply END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE or OPTOUT, or tell us any other reasonable way, such as by calling (732) 222-6464 or emailing info@seashoretransit.com. We will send one text confirming your opt-out and then stop texting you; opting out stops all text messages from Seashore. Reply HELP for help, call (732) 222-6464 or email us at info@seashoretransit.com. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of employment. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your number and messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except subcontractors that help us deliver messages and support you.
Email. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Service and transactional emails continue while you use our services.
5. Using this website
Please use this website lawfully. Do not send false, abusive or unlawful content through our forms, try to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the site's operation, or collect data from it by automated means. In an emergency, call 911. For anything urgent about a bus or route, call us at (732) 222-6464; please don't use the contact form or email for urgent matters. If we offer online accounts or portals in the future, additional terms may apply to them.
6. Intellectual property
The text, design, logos and other content of this website belong to Seashore Transportation, Inc. or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or business reference. You may not copy, modify or present the site or our brand as your own.
7. Third-party services and links
We rely on third-party services, such as payment processors and communications providers, and the site may link to other websites. Their own terms and policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimers
The website is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent New Jersey law allows, Seashore is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. This section covers the website only. It does not limit liability for death, personal injury or property damage caused by our negligence or willful misconduct, it does not limit any right or remedy you have under New Jersey consumer-protection law, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, and it does not change the terms of any transportation contract.
10. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by New Jersey law. Any dispute about them will be heard in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Monmouth County or, if a federal court has jurisdiction, in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, unless New Jersey law requires otherwise.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Changes apply from the date shown at the top and do not change a payment you have already made or a trip we have already confirmed in writing. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable under New Jersey law, the rest remains in effect. Questions? Seashore Transportation, Inc., 211 Monmouth Rd, Suite 3, West Long Branch, NJ 07764, (732) 222-6464, info@seashoretransit.com.
